Registered Charitable Trust
Our Story
Paari foundation is a charitable organisation in Sri Lanka, founded on April 2021. The foundation's main aim is giving educational support for students who are less privileged and therefore unable to financially afford higher education. We aim to tackle this issue by providing them with the help they require, whether is it financial aid or other support like providing books, laptop and other resources to continue their studies. By doing so we hope to raise a young generation who are well-educated, independent, and have an aspiring future ahead of them.
Our Vision:
We intend to create a fair and well-brought up society through enriching the community, by providing appropriate resources to the students who are less privileged and therefore unable to continue their education to advance levels.
அறக்கட்டளையின் நோக்கக்கூற்று:
கல்வியை தொடர்வதில் இலகுவில் பாதிப்புக்குள்ளாகும் மாணவர்களுக்குப் பொருத்தமான வளங்களைப் பெற்றுக்கொடுப்பதன் மூலம் நேர்மைத்திறன்மிகு சமூகத்தை உருவாக்கல்.
Our Mission:
To strive to achieve the objectives of the Trust by creating personnel development by providing suitable resources such as financial aid, self study books, facilities for study (libraries), to the students who live in underpreviliege backgrounds.

கல்விக்கான சமூகப்பணிச் செயற்பாடுகளில் மாணவர்களுக்கு பொருத்தமான வளங்களைப் பெற்றெடுப்பதன் மூலம் ஆளுமை விருத்தியினை ஏற்படுத்தி அறக்கட்டளையின் நோக்கக்கூற்றை அடைய முயற்சி செய்தல்.
Paari, The Generous King
Paari Vallal, the legendary 9CE Tamil Chola king was one of the 7 patron kings ("Vallal") who supported poets and scholars. After the Dwaraka deluge, a group of refugees are believed to have reached Kashmir, while the other group set southwards. King Paari was believed to have reached Tamil Nadu as a refugee from Dwaraka, following the great sage Agasthya. He is said to have ruled the Parambu Nadu.
One day Paari was going around the hill in his chariot. Suddenly a strong wind blew and the king noticed a lone Jasmine creeper which was violently tossed in the wind. He asked his charioteer to move the chariot close to the creeper. He gently bent down and took the creeper wrapping it carefully around the chariot. He set his horses to roam freely and walked to his palace along with his charioteer.
தமிழ்நாட்டில் இரண்டாயிரம் ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் வாழ்ந்து புகழ் பெற்ற குறுநில மன்னர்களான ஏழு வள்ளல்களுள் பாரியும் ஒருவர். பாரியின் அவைக்களப் புலவராக விளங்கினவர் கபிலர். பாரியைப் பற்றிய குறிப்பு கபிலரின் புறநானூறு எனப்படும் படைப்புகளில் வெகுவாரியாக காணப்படுகிறது.
வேளிர் எனும் ஆயர் குடியில் பிறந்ததால் வேள்பாரி என அழைக்கப்பட்ட பாரி பறம்பு மலையையும் அதனைச் சூழ்ந்த பகுதிகளையும் ஆண்டார். மூவேந்தர்களும் பொறாமை கொள்ளும் அளவிற்கு வேள்பாரியின் கொடைத்தன்மை தென்னகம் முழுவதும் பரவி இருந்தது.
தன் ஆட்சிக்கு உட்பட்ட மலைப்பகுதிகளையும் காட்டுப் பகுதிகளையும் அடிக்கடி கண்டு களித்து மக்கள் குறைகளை கண்டறியும் பழக்கம் பாரிக்கு உண்டு. ஒரு நாள் பொழுது சாயும் நேரம் இவ்வாறு சென்றுக்கொண்டிருக்கும் போது படர கொழு கொம்பிலாமல் வாடி தவிக்கும் ஒரு முல்லைக்கொடியை கண்டு அவர் மனம் பதைபதைத்தது. தன் தேரை விட்டு இறங்கி அதில் அந்த முல்லைக் கொடியை படர விட்டு ஆனந்தித்தார். பிறகு நடந்தே தன் அரண்மனை சென்றார்.
