2025 - Severe Flooding situation

In 2025, devastating floods tore through Sri Lanka, affecting over one million people and forcing hundreds of thousands from their homes. Entire villages were submerged, livelihoods washed away, and families left with nothing but the clothes they escaped in. Children, the elderly, and the sick now face days without clean water, food, or safe shelter.

This was more than a natural disaster — it is a humanitarian crisis. Immediate support was urgently needed to help families survive today and rebuild their lives tomorrow.

So Paari Foundation stepped in to help out at various locations and various aid was given:

On 30.11.2025 -> We supplied dry food packages to families with children under 5 and elederly people over 60.  The project was successfully implemented with a high financial contribution of 212,740.00 from the NCPF organisation.

On 13.12.2025 -> Further dry food packages were distributed to 34 families from Marudhanagar and Pannangandi villages in Kilinochchi district, which were affected by the flood disaster caused by Cyclone Titva.

On this day we also provided 28 students from Maruthanagar and Pannangandi villages in Kilinochchi district with exercise books worth Rs. 43,540 with the aim of facilitating their school learning activities
