Paari VettiCani returns...

The Paari Foundation has undertaken an initiative to prepare and distribute 3,500 copies of the Paari Vetticani -2 

question and answer book to support Grade 5 students preparing for the scholarship examination scheduled for 2026.

Success in the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination plays a vital role in enhancing students’ intellectual development and strengthening their proficiency in both English and Sinhala. Moreover, students who pass the examination become eligible to receive government scholarship funding, which can significantly support their future education.

 

This initiative is therefore designed to provide essential educational resources and guidance, particularly for students facing financial challenges, empowering them to achieve academic success and pursue their educational goals with confidence.

Paari Vetticani Distribution- Kalmunai Zone

On 25th April 2026, we continued the distribution of Paari VettiCani at 3 different schools in the Kalmunai Zone. 

Paari Vetticani Distribution- Thunukkai Education Zone

On 2 April 2026, an event was held to distribute the book “Paari VettiCani-2” to 455 students from schools under the Thunukkai Education Zone who are preparing to sit for the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination.

The book distribution programme took place at three locations. Mrs. T. Sahana, Deputy Director of Education (Educational Planning) of the Thunukkai Education Zone, participated in the event and distributed the books to the students.

I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to Development Officer Karthi, who organised and participated in the event with great dedication, and to all the social workers in education who worked together to make the programme a success.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Mr and Mrs Apputhurai Jeganathan Sabanayaki and their family, who reside in the Netherlands, for their generous financial contribution to the successful implementation of this project.

தரம் 5 புலமைப்பரிசில் பரீட்சைக்கு தோற்றவுள்ள துணுக்காய் கல்வி வலயத்திற்குட்பட்ட பாடசாலைகளைச் சேர்ந்த 455 மாணவர்களுக்கு பாரி வெற்றிக்கனி-2 நூல் வழங்கும் நிகழ்வு கடந்த 2026.04.02 ஆம் திகதி இடம்பெற்றது.

குறித்த விநியோக நிகழ்வானது மும்முனைகளில் இடம் பெற்றது. குறித்த நிகழ்வில் துணுக்காய் கல்வி வலயத்தின் பிரதிக் கல்விப் பணிப்பாளர் (கல்வித் திட்டமிடல்) திருமதி து.சஹானா அவர்கள் கலந்து கொண்டு மாணவர்களுக்கு நூல்களை வழங்கி வைத்தார்.

மேலும் சிறப்புற நிகழ்வினை ஏற்பாடு செய்து கலந்து சிறப்பித்த அபிவிருத்தி உத்தியோகத்தர் கார்த்தி அவர்களுக்கும் இணைந்து பணியாற்றிய அனைத்துக் கல்விக்கான சமூகப்பணியாளர்களுக்கும் எனது இதயபூர்வமான நன்றிகளைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கின்றேன்.

குறித்த செயற்றிட்டத்தினை வெற்றிகரமாக நடைமுறைப்படுத்துவதற்கு உயரிய நிதிப் பங்களிப்பினை வழங்கிய நெதர்லாந்து தேசத்தில் வசித்து வருகின்ற திரு.திருமதி அப்புத்துரை ஜெகநாதன் சபாநாயகி குடும்பத்தினருக்கு எனது இதயபூர்வமான நன்றிகளைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கின்றேன்.

Paari Vetticani Distribution- Bandarawela Education Zone

On 28th February 2026, an event was held to distribute the book “Paari VettiCani-2” to 338 students from schools under the Bandarawela Education Zone who are preparing to sit for the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination. Along side this we also estabilished a E-learning smart classroom at Pooravahini Tamil Vidyalayam. 

The event was held under the leadership of the Principal. The chief guests included Mr. K. Yogeswaran, Deputy Director of Education (Educational Development) of the Bandarawela Zonal Education Office; Mrs. Sasivathana Vimalaranjithan, Founder of the Paari Foundation ; Mr. Ravinathan Raviraj, Project Director; and other distinguished education professionals.

Paari Vetticani Launch Event -Uva Province

​The launch event of Paari Vettrikani – 2 and a grand free seminar were held at Badu/St. James Tamil Vidyalayam, under the Badulla Education Zone in Sri Lanka’s Uva Province.

The event was conducted under the guidance of the school’s Principal, the respected Mr. R. Rajivkanthan, who is also our Advisor for the Badulla District of the Paari Foundation.

A special feature of the event was the enthusiastic participation of our founder, students, parents, and teachers, making it a highly successful and vibrant occasion at the school.

With the aim of improving the educational opportunities of students in the Uva province, Paari’s impactful work received valuable support from Mr K. Yogeswaran, Deputy Director of Education of the Bandarawela Education Zone, as well as principals and zonal representatives from schools in the Badulla Education Zone. Their presence and support deeply touched and encouraged us.

I extend my heartfelt thanks to Principal Mr. R. Rajivkanthan for bringing everyone together and working collectively to make this initiative a success. I also express my sincere gratitude to the NCPF organisation for providing significant financial support towards the successful implementation of this project.

பாரி வெற்றிக்கனி-2  வெளியீட்டு நிகழ்வும் மாபெரும் இலவச கருத்தரங்கும் ஊவா மாகாணத்தில் பதுளை கல்வியத்திற்குட்பட்ட பது/ சென்ஜேம்ஸ் தமிழ் வித்தியாலயத்தில் இடம்பெற்றது.

குறித்த நிகழ்வானது சென்ஜேம்ஸ் தமிழ் வித்தியாலய அதிபரும் பாரி அறக்கட்டளை கல்விக்கான சமூகப்பணி அமையத்தின் பதுளை மாவட்ட ஆலோசகருமான மதிப்பிற்குரிய திரு.இரா.ரஜீவ்காந்தி அவர்களின் நெறிப்படுத்தலில் நடைபெற்றது.

குறித்த பாடசாலையில் மிக விமர்சையாக மாணவர்கள், பெற்றோர்கள் மற்றும் ஆசிரியர்களின் பங்கேற்புடன் நிகழ்வு நடைபெற்றமை சிறப்பம்சமாகும்.

மலையக மாணவர்களின் கல்வி மேம்பாட்டினை நோக்காகக் கொண்டு பாரியின் வீச்சு மிக்க பணிகளில் பண்டாரவளை கல்வி வலயத்தின் பிரதிக் கல்விப் பணிப்பாளர் திரு.க.யோகேஸ்வரன் அவர்களும் பதுளை கல்வி வலயத்திற்குட்பட்ட பாடசாலைகளைச் சேர்ந்த அதிபர்கள் மற்றும் வலயப் பிரதிநிதிகள் எனப் பலரது பங்கேற்பும் எம்மை நெகிழ்ச்சி கொள்ள வைத்தது.

குறித்த நிகழ்வில் அனைவரையும் ஒன்றிணைத்து பணியாற்றிய அதிபர் திரு.இரா.ரஜீவ்காந்தி அவர்களுக்கும் செயற்றிட்டத்தினை வெற்றிகரமாக நடைமுறைப்படுத்துவதற்கு உயரிய நிதிப் பங்களிப்பினை வழங்கிய NCPF அமையத்தினருக்கும் எனது இதயபூர்வமான நன்றிகளைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கின்றேன்.

New Year 2026 Special 

1st January, as we step into the new year we keep educational needs at the forefront of our minds.  So in memory of our founder, Nadarajah Vimalaranjithan, following the donation of  Mrs. Sasivathana Vimalaranjithan we provided learning materials, including exercise books, to students at the foundation’s office.

 

Continuing this mission to improve education, the foundation provided learning materials worth Rs. 90,000 to 53 students from financially disadvantaged families in J/222 Senthankulam Grama Niladhari Division, Tellippalai Divisional Secretariat, on 2nd January 2026.
